At the early age of 9, Dr. Arthur learned the importance of good health when his father, a young minister, died at the age of 39.  He had suffered from a myriad of health problems.  "It made such a strong impact on me that I vowed to God that I would commit my life to helping people be healthy."

Dr. Arthur studied 5 years in Pre-Med and Music at L.A. Pierce Junior College and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  At age 21, his health diminished rapidly after receiving a severe whiplash in a rear end car accident.  He experienced the toxic side effects of mercury toxicity from complications caused by amalgam fillings.  Three months later he started losing his hair, his skin turned pale and he developed bags underneath his eyes.  He found help and recovery through natural healthcare including; applied kinesiology, chiropractic, detoxification protocols and nutritional therapy.  This chain of events completely changed the direction of his life.  He then began an extensive study of nutrition and completed his degree as a Nutritional Technician.  He continued studying the laws of natural healing and worked as a nutritional and fitness consultant for 4 years.  He was accepted into Naturopathic Medical School, but at that time they were not allowed to practice in California where he was raised.  After researching all of the different healing professions and what they had to offer, he and his wife Lisa decided that becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) was the most well rounded healing art for their path in California.  The scope of practice as a D.C. could include all natural healthcare, except for prescribing pharmaceutical medications, surgeries and puncturing the skin.

Dr. Gary graduated with honors from Palmer West College of Chiropractic in 1987 where he specialized in Applied Kinesiology.  He chose Applied Kinesiology (AK) because of its comprehensive natural perspective of the body and the incredible results that he witnessed.

He has worked with numerous professional and Olympic athletes.  He has worked as the sports doctor for the Women's Professional Volleyball Association and currently works with Laguna Beach High School athletic teams.  I love being a doctor and a health coach, helping others heal, empowering them to take charge of their lives and become their best.

The Arthur’s enjoy a full and balanced life with their four children.  They have offered their unique and uplifting message of health on television programs and educational seminars.  They also produce videos and cassettes on natural healing.  Some of these titles include: “An Introduction to Natural Healing”, “Chiropractic and Applied Kinesiology”, “Lifestyles of the Healthfully, Wealthy and Wise” and “Balancing Your Biochemistry with Nutritional Therapy”.

"I love this profession, it allows me to help people get well without the use of drugs.  My passion is combining chiropractic care with homeopathy and nutritional therapy.  The results are overwhelmingly powerful.  As a mother of four children, I find that when my children are in pain I want quick results.  I found such results by combining these three wonderful healing arts.  My vision is to support parents in their choice to treat their children with the highest quality health care possible."
